It is best to grind them like a coarse powder. Take a plenty of water with ground flax seeds. Remember that always store them in a airtight container as they have a tendency to turn rancid because of the oil content in them. It is very difficult to chew the whole flax seeds as the outer shell is thick and it's also contains all the goodness so if you donot chew them properly, they will pass right through your digestive tract without absorbing into your body, So it is best to powder them and consume but do not keep ground flax seeds for long. You should consume them within 13 to 15 minutes of grinding because they will Start to oxidize as soon as they get in contact with air and all the benefits of the seeds will be lost. So, powder them only before consuming.

Firstly, you need to take grinder to make it grind to powder, there is no need to roast the seeds simply add the required amount of seeds in the grinder and pulse two to three times until you get a ground form. These ground flax seeds are also known as flax meal ground. Flax seeds are sold as flax meal and is very popular in the health community and I strongly advise you not to buy flax meal instead but whole organic flax seed and grind at home as needed.   • Now take 1/4 cup water and 1 cup jaggery put into water and let it melt completely. Then filter jaggery syrup keep the flame on medium flame and add some cardamom powder in syrup and cook it for few minutes until you get a string like consistency.
  • Then add all ground powder into prepared syrup mix it well with spatula until it turns into a dough form and simply make a ladoo. Remember one thing store in air tight container for 10-15 days in dry place.
